Gas Up the Stove

Awesome Apple Crunch

Nonstick baking spray

3-4 large apples

1 cup sugar

3/4 teaspoon cinnamon

3/4 cup rolled oats

3/4 cup flour

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

3/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup margarine, melted

 

Spray a baking dish with nonstick spray and spread the apple slices in the bottom. Mix the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over apples. In a separate bowl, mix together the rolled oats, flour, baking soda and powder and brown sugar.

 

Stir in the melted margarine and mix until crumbly. Spread over apples.

 

Bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees. For an extra special treat, top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
