AGL's Home and Heartwarming Project: Reaching Out to Those Who Need Assistance

What is it? The Home and Heartwarming Project is a joint effort with the Georgia Environmental Facilities Authority and Resource Service Ministries to provide weatherization services and natural gas equipment repair or replacement for qualified senior and low-income households that receive natural gas from Atlanta Gas Light’s lines.

Who qualifies? Qualifying households cannot exceed 150 percent of the federal poverty level. Visit the  Low Income Household Assistance Program website to view income requirements, or call 1-800-869-1150.

Who should you contact? Qualifying applicants should contact United Way by dialing 211 or their local community action agency. Click here for a list of agencies. Do not call Walton EMC Natural Gas or AGL directly.
