DON'T FORGET

With ALL Natural Gas Appliances:

ALWAYS have a licensed contractor inspect your gas appliances once a year.

NEVER allow dust to accumulate near gas appliances.

ALWAYS consult the owners’ manual for proper maintenance and cleaning of an appliance.

NEVER store flammable items like aerosol cans or cleaning solutions nearby.

ALWAYS use water based cleaning solutions when cleaning – others may be flammable.

NEVER try to fix the problem yourself if you suspect a gas leak. Call Atlanta Gas Light at 770/907-4231 (inside Metro Atlanta) or 877/427-4321 (outside Metro Alanta) to report a leak.

ALWAYS look to see that the gas flame is blue. Any other color means there may be a problem (with the exception of a gas fireplace). Call a licensed contractor to check it out before you use it.
