Changed Your Air Filter Lately?
Ever try to suck a piece of ice
through a straw? It's hard work,
huh?
The same goes for your home's
heating, ventilating and air conditioning
(HVAC) system. When there
is a blockage in the system, extra energy
is needed to circulate air.
Heating and cooling is a large part
of your energy bill especially during
summer and the winter's extreme
temperatures.
To keep your unit running efficiently
all year long, check your filter every
month.
At minimum, change it every three
months. Your eye is the best indicator.
If the filter looks dirty, change it.
The cost of a new filter is minor
compared to the benefit for your
unit and the health of your family.
