July 2012
Congratulations on choosing the right provider, us!
According to a just-released report by J.D. Power and Associates, Walton EMC Natural Gas again

1 Prepare early
Chop and thaw foods early. Gather
plates and utensils before guests arrive.
Don't cook everything once the party
starts – you want to have fun, too!
Prepare dishes early or buy
ready-made. Pair the recipe for a
fresh salad an easy meal.
2 Know your grill
Before inviting guests, get to
know your grill by preparing a
meal for your family. Factor in
enough time to ensure food is
cooked to the correct internal
temperature before serving.
Wind, outdoor temperature and
other factors can affect the
speed of cooking.
3 Let the grill be the center of attention
Cooking and entertaining takes a lot of
work. Position the grill in a central location,
but remember not to seat guests downwind
of the smoke. It's also important to keep
children and play areas away from the grill.
4 Give guests something to do
Help friends pass the
downtime between arrival
and dinner with appetizers
and activities like horseshoes
or frisbee.
5 Customize
Please everyone by letting
your guests customize their
meal. Set up a burger bar with
ingredients like cheese,
mustard, tomatoes,
guacamole or sauteed onions.
You'll save time preparing
orders and everyone gets their
favorite toppings.
