Because most families only roast a turkey once a year, it can be a bit
intimidating - especially if you've never tried it before. You can
baste it, stuff it and tie it up real nice, but you'd be surprised how
simple a delicious roast turkey can be without all the fuss.
Follow these steps for a perfect Thanksgiving turkey every time:
The bird should be completely thawed in the fridge 2 to 3
days before cooking.
Remove the giblets and rub the outside and inside of the bird
with butter and your favorite herbs.
Roast at 375 degrees.
20 MINUTES PER POUND
It should take a ten-pound bird between
three and four hours to reach a recommended internal temperature of

Cover the turkey loosely with foil and allow it to retain
some of the moisture before slicing. Carve and enjoy!
