you call WEMC Natural Gas regarding your account, try calling between Tuesday
and Friday. Mondays are usually our busiest day!
- According
to the National Weather Service for Atlanta, November 2003 required 41 percent
more heating than November 2002. December 2003 was 11 percent colder than
normal and required three percent more heating than December 2002
and required 166 percent more heating than November.
Temperatures for January 2004 were normal, requiring two
percent more
heating than December.
- Atlanta
Gas Light is offering rebates for natural gas appliances purchased between
Aug. 1, 2003 and Jan. 31, 2004. Rebates include $200 for a natural gas furnace,
$100 for a natural gas water heater, natural gas range or natural gas
dryer.

Purchases must be made no earlier than Aug. 1, 2003 and no later than Jan.
31, 2004. Your natural gas appliance must be installed within at least 90
days after purchase to qualify for rebate. All rebate applications must
